Russian retailer FOTT has crafted a lookbook in celebration of Italian label ASPESI Spring/Summer 2013 apparel pairings for the new season. Men’s staples are neatly outlined in this photo set, which sees clean shirt, jacket, and trouser combinations laid out. A focus on wearability, fabric, and streamlined silhouettes seems to be the theme throughout the collection, with highlights such as versatile sweaters, linen blazers, and lightweight military-inspired jackets all shining through. With a thoroughly impressive showing, ASPESI’s line of casual essentials are now available in full from the FOTT online store.

Il sapore della tradizione lagunare impreziosisce ancora una volta, con qualità, i capi della nuova stagioneSS13 di Barena. La bella label veneta continua infatti a raccontare le sue piacevoli storie attraverso lookbook apparentemente trasandati, molto curati invece non appena ci si sofferma sui dettagli alle spalle di un “non” modello come sempre particolare.
Dagli archivi storici dei più prestigiosi lanifici veneti – ora non più in attività – proviene poi la maggior parte delle lane scelte per la collezione, da ritrovare insieme a lini esclusivi, cotoni grezzi, denim e garze stampate, tutti ovviamente di manifattura italiana. Nulla di nuovo, verrebbe dunque da dire: stessi rigore stilistico, linearità e semplicità, ma che nel caso di Barena fanno certo molto piacere. E continuano a piacere molto.

Handmade in northern Italy, the collection is made up of three styles: Sid – a traditional panto style with thin temples, Bob – a thin frame with a unique straight arm grip, and Frank – a mould of the traditional way-farer updated with it’s rounded edges.
